The Kingfisher Chamber of Commerce held its annual Kool Cars & Chrome Car Show which brought dozens of entries and hundreds of spectators to town. The car show was in conjunction with the Crazy Days sales for downtown merchants as well as the townwide garage sales. The car show, which began at 10 a.m., not only had temperatures well below what had been heating up the county for the previous week, but there were also intermittent showers during the event.
