Ripley wins Dover golf tournament; Shoaf individual champion with 81
Ripley was the team champ Monday at the Dover Longhorn Small School Girls Invitational.
The tournament was played at Kingfisher Golf Course.
Using the Maxwell format, Ripley shot a 383, which was six strokes ahead of Thomas/Arnett.
Enid JV took third with its 402. Hennessey tied for fourth as the Lady Eagles shot 432 as did Oklahoma Bible Academy.
Okarche placed 10th with its 510. Harley Shoaf of Thomas/Arnett was the individual champion with a 9-over-par 81.
Paityn Abernathy of Enid JV was the runner-up at 92 and Kate Mannering of Thomas/Arnett third with a 94.
Jentry Pribyl of Hennessey was the top placer in the county. Her 100 was good for a tie for 12th.
Jenna Hladik’s 104 tied her for 16th while Leilie Vadder shot a 122 and Marisol Valles a 129 for the Lady Eagles.
Okarche was led by Harper White’s 114, which placed her 34th.
The Lady Warriors also got a 127 from Abbie Endres, a 132 from Addison Mingus and a 137 from Presley Wittrock.
Dover’s Hadlee Bryan, playing as an individual, fired a 111, which placed her 30th.
