It was a quick night Monday for Hennessey basketball.

The Lady Eagles dispatched of Pioneer-Pleasant Vale 49-21 for a road win.

It was Hennessey’s third game in four days, but the boys can’t say the same.

Pioneer had too many players out with sickness and couldn’t play, making it a one-game evening for HHS.

Clare Munroe helped make it a successful one as she scored nine points in the second quarter.

That was part of a 16-5 run to build on what was already a 13-point lead.

Every Lady Eagle got playing time and 10 of them scored.

Munroe led the way with her 11 points, all in the first half.

Star Torres scored 10 as Hennessey moved to 15-8 on the season with two games remaining.

Hennessey started the year 1-4.
