Karen Trumbley
In loving memory. We celebrate you!
Karen Hester Rhew Trumbley was born Nov. 24, 1955, in San Antonio, Texas. She graduated from Highlands High School in Texas.
On July 23, 2021, at the age of 65, she passed away in Kingfisher.
She was preceded in death by her parents Guy Stokes Rhew and Althiea Allbee Rhew and stepmother Fay Lewis Rhew; and her brothers Roger Rhew, Carl Rhew and Roy Rhew.
Karen is survived by her ex-husband Paul Treybig; son Brian Treybig and wife Kristina and dogs Milo and Summer of Kemah, Texas; and daughter Natalie Branson and fiance Brett Weyrick of Kingfisher.
Karen is also survived by her husband Bobby Trumbley of Watonga; daughter Connie Trumbley and Steven Collins of Bristow; daughter Bobbi Trumbley and Dyrrecco Beavers of Kingfisher; stepson Doug Trumbley and wife Rachel of Glenpool; and stepdaughter Janice Herrera and husband Richard of Carlsbad, Calif.
Also, grandchildren John Ross Loewen III (Trey) and Grace Loewen, Zane Treybig and Day Gonzalez of Fairview; Chance Branson and Mary Tompkins, Achilles Branson and Haven Branson of Kingfisher; Taytum Parker, Blayton, Bryher and Beckem Collins of Bristow; Addilinn, Kaileen and JayCoBee Trumbley of Kingfisher; and Helen and Richie Herrera of Carlsbad, Calif.
Great-grandchildren include Asher Blaine Aldrich, Ozzy May Treybig, Hazel May Gonzales and Ross Loewen.
Karen had many jobs.
She was a bounty hunter; owned her own restaurant in Watonga, Eclipse Cafe; Hollytex Mill in Watonga; Walmart; she knew how to do it all.
She was a hard-working woman that always provided.
The most important job she loved and cherished the most was being a mom, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Her kids and family were the most important thing to her. Karen’s love and naturally optimistic aura shined through in every aspect of her life.
Karen loved sun and moon stuff, she loved to cook a lot and her food was amazing.
She would give anything and everything to anyone, even her last dollar. She was selfless; she thought of everyone else before herself.
Karen was strong, courageous, a warrior, a provider, a comforter, thoughtful, grateful and the most wonderful woman anyone could ever know.
She was so wise she always had the answers and the perfect thing to say no matter the circumstances.
She was the best woman ever. She was one in infinity, to the moon and back, to the sun, to the stars. She was loved more than we could ever show her.
She always had a smile on her face that was genuine and her kind nature illuminated any environment she entered. Although her earthly body isn’t with us anymore, her love and kind spirit lives within each of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
We celebrate with her as we know she will always be with us and watching over us. We can’t wait to see you again, mom.

Her services were family only at Sanders Funeral Home on July 27, where she was cremated.
