Yeoman helps KHS girls snap soccer skid
Paige Yeoman was nearly flawless in the goal Thursday night and it lifted the Kingfisher girls soccer team to its second victory of the season.
Yeoman delivered a shutout in regulation, then allowed just one goal in a shootout to lift KHS to a 2-1 win at Oklahoma Christian School.
After the teams ended regulation scoreless, Kingfisher got a shootout goal from Nayeli Gutierrez to tie it up and then Loren Ballard, on Kingfisher’s last kick of the night, brought home the win with her goal.
