Longhorns take 7th at Skeltur

Dover salvaged a seventh-place finish in the Skeltur Conference Tournament.
The Longhorns got 31 points from Joriaun Caldwell as they defeated Cimarron 54-48 at the Stride Center in Enid.
Dover trailed by five after a quarter, but outscored the Blazers 16-6 in the second before holding on in the fourth.
Trinton Ritz chipped in seven points for the Longhorns, who snapped a four-game losing skid and improved to 6-14.
It was Dover’s second win over Cimarron this season.
Dover girls 8th
The Lady Longhorns finished eighth with their 47-26 loss to Pioneer-Pleasant Vale.
The teams were tied 17-all after a quarter, but Pioneer outscored Dover 17-2 over the next two frames.
Meadow Caldwell paced Dover (2-13) with 11 points. Yareli Obeso scored six.
