Cashion sweeps Maroons
Cashion returned to the win column Friday night in the Skordle Festival.
After having a fivegame win streak snapped by Hennessey last Tuesday, the Lady Wildcats came back with a 54-32 thumping of Blackwell at the Stride Bank Center in Enid.
Defense took care of business early as the Lady Maroons scored just eight first-half points, which included three in the second quarter.
Cashion led by 10 after eight minutes and pushed it to 29-8 by the break.
Abby Hobgood led all scorers with 15 points.
Megan Shafer contributed 12 while Addison Mc-Cracken and Kate Nabavi scored nine apiece.
Cashion upped its season record to 15-7 with the win.
Wildcats win by 20
Carson Gump’s near double-double lifted Cashion to its second straight win.
The Wildcats handed Blackwell a 52-32 defeat Friday during the Skordle Festival at the Stride Bank Center in Enid.

and grabbed nine rebounds as the Wildcats moved to 16-6 on the season.
Cashion got out to an 11-4 lead and extended it to 19-9 by the break.
The Wildcats steadily built on it during the second half.
Drake Woody added nine points for Cashion while Hudson Horan, Brody Nichols and Kyle Yowell scored six apiece.
