A, B softball districts

Dover will host a district while Okarche will hit the road when fast-pitch playoffs begin later this week.

The OSSAA recently released district assignments for Classes A and B.

Those revealed that Dover will host Vici and Buffalo in a three-team district in Class B.

Okarche will travel to Carnegie along with Calumet/ Hammon in Class A.

As of press time, Dover was 12-16 on the season.

Buffalo was 6-15 while Vici was 11-15.

Okarche was 17-9. Calumet/ Hammon boasted a 10-17 record while Carnegie was 18-8.

The district tournaments are to be completed by Sept. 28.

The winner of each double-elimination district advances to next week’s regional.
