Swart is OCA All-State pick
5 others from county are all-stars by class
Lomega senior Abby Swart has more basketball to play this summer.
The Lady Raider last week was named to the Oklahoma Coaches Association All-State team.
She’s a member of the Small West, which consists of just 10 players from Class 3A down to Class B.
Swart is one of just two Class B players on the team.
The Small West will play the Small East during the annual OCA All-State Games the last week of July in Tulsa.
Swart was earlier one of five Kingfisher County players named to the Oklahoma Girls Basketball Coaches Association All-State team.
She helped lead Lomega to a 30-2 record and the Class B state championship during her senior year.
Along the way, Swart averaged 18 points, 5.4 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 2.8 steals.
She played in four state title games during her career, winning two of them.
Joining Swart on the Class B all-star team by class - a pre-requisite for earning OCA All-State - were Dover’s Karlee Harviston and Katelyn Harviston.
Both were also previously OGBCA All-State picks.
Lauren Jenkins and Reese Williams of Cashion were named Class 2A allstars while Peyton Walker of Kingfisher earned the honor for Class 4A.
