Kingfisher’s second trip to Clinton in a week saw the Yellowjackets take eighth place at the high school version of the Hub City Classic wrestling tournament.
One week after the junior high squads competed in the Tornado Dome, the elder statesmen of the school got their chance and delivered three placers.

Browning’s lone loss to the tournament was a narrow 6-3 decision to Marlow’s Brayden Bowman in the semifinals.
The junior came back to pin Mustang’s Jayden Gracy in 4:36 for the bronze medal.
Kochenower was defeated by Marlow’s Brantz Batemen in their semifinal bout.
Batemen went on to win gold in the weight class.
