Cashion splits TRC contests at OBA
Caleb Shafer came off the bench to record a double-double as Cashion stayed unbeaten in Three Rivers Conference games.
Shafer had 10 points and 13 rebounds as the Wildcats beat Oklahoma Bible Academy 50-36 Tuesday in Enid.
The win was the third straight for Cashion as it moved to 5-2 overall and 2-0 in conference contests.
Up six after a quarter, Cashion outscored the Trojans 20-7 in the third.
The lead was 45-21 after three quarters.
Chance Acord was 3 of 4 from 3-point range and led the team with 13 points.
Cashion also got nine points from Jackson Vandruff.
OBA outlasts Lady Wildcats Megan Shafer scored 20 points, but it wasn’t enough for Cashion to pull out a road win.
The Lady Wildcats were downed 54-46 Tuesday at Oklahoma Bible Academy in Enid.
Shafer’s output was offset by Conley Cayot’s 23 points.
The Lady Trojans also got 14 points from Clara Caldwell as they upped their season mark to 3-1.
Their lone loss was to Okarche.
The Lady Wildcats saw Lauren Jenkins score 11 points.
Cashion dropped to 3-4 overall and 1-1 in the Three Rivers Conference.
