Motorcyclist injured in wreck north of Kingfisher

An Enid resident was injured Sunday night in a motorcyle accident between Kingfisher and Dover.Shannon D. Wright, 55, suffered injuries in a wreck on U.S. Highway 81 near County Road E750 at about 6 p.m., according to a report from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

OG&E provides outage update

OG&E reported significant damage to its infrastructure as a result of Monday morning’s storms.According to data provided at about 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, the high winds resulted in nearly 100 power poles beings downed and damage to 28 transformers.

Bill Red Bird Memorial Held

Mr. and Mrs. Allan Red Bird had their memorial for his brother Bill Red Bird at Kingfisher Indian hall, six miles west of town. Dinner served, had big crowd. Their relatives all helped for dinner really plenty to eat.MC for the event John Sleeper and Head Dancer Albert Hamilton.
