Four Raiders scored in double figures Friday as Lomega stayed unbeaten in Cherokee Strip Conference games.

A quick start propelled Lomega to a 73-35 victory at home against Cherokee.

Winners of six of their last seven games, the Raiders go into the Christmas break with a 7-4 record.

They are 3-0 in the conference.

Ben Marsh scored a game-high 23 points in the win.

That included eight in a first quarter that helped his team to a 23-10 lead.

He added seven more in the second as Lomega outscored the Chiefs 23-7.

Marsh was far from alone in his efforts.

Lance Yost scored 12 points in the first half while Chase Burton added nine.

Burton finished the game with 14 points.

Yost scored 12 and Jaxson Snowden chipped in 10 more.

Lomega led 65-22 entering the fourth quarter before pulling off the gas.

••• The good news for visiting Cherokee on Friday is it stayed even with Class B’s top-ranked Lomega for the first quarter.

The bad news was the fact there were still three quarters to be played.

Lomega dominated those en route to a 72-27 victory.

The Lady Raiders are now 10-1 on the season and 3-0 in Cherokee Strip Conference games.

After giving up 12 points in the first quarter, Lomega surrendered just 15 the rest of the game.

The offense heated up with a 19-5 run in the second quarter.

Reagan Snowden scored eight of Lomega’s points in the opening frame, but started to get some help.

Hadley Ott scored five and Aliana Lawson six.

Ott was just warming up.

The junior nailed four 3-pointers in a third quarter that saw Lomega outscore its guests 20-6.

She had five of Lomega’s nine 3-pointers in the game.

Snowden eventually led the team with 20 points.

Ott scored 17. Lawson added 12 while Bree Yost scored nine.
