It wasn’t snowing outdoors, but there was way too much Snowden indoors last Friday for Burlington.

Noah Snowden and Blake Snowden combined for 40 points in a 75-37 road win for Lomega as the Raiders improved to 3-0 and won their Cherokee Strip Conference opener.

Blake Snowden buried three 3-pointers and Noah Snowden added six points in the first as Lomega raced out to a 22-5 lead.

Two more treys came off Blake Snowden’s fingertips in the second quarter while the latter added eight more of his own.

Already up 41-19 at the half, Lomega got scoring from seven different players during a 21-5 third-quarter spurt.

Noah Snowden finished the night with a game-high 21 points. Blake Snowden scored 19.

Senior Riley Lumpkin also had a big first quarter where he scored five of his nine points.

Eleven different Raiders scored in the contest.

The boys’ game was the only contest of the night.

Burlington doesn’t have a varsity girls team this season.

Both Lomega teams are slated to return to action in next week’s Canton Invitational.
