Lomega’s Duffy, Wilson pick up OCA basketball All-state honor
Add another all-state honor to Adysen Wilson and Emma Duffy’s lists.
The Lomega duo last week were named to the Oklahoma Coaches Association All-State basketball team.
They will be a part of the Small West when that squad takes on all-state honorees on the Small East on Wednesday, July 28, in the Tulsa area.
Wilson and Duffy were earlier named to the OGBCA All-State team, which is pared down to form the OCA squad.
Wilson averaged 15 points, 5.4 rebounds, 5.9 assists and 4 steals a game.
Duffy contributed 14 points, 9.3 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 3.6 steals.
The two led Lomega to a 27-0 record and a second straight Class B title in 2020-21.
The Lady Raiders were 57-2 the last two seasons and won 54 straight games.
The OCA also announced all-stars by class, also a pre-requisite to make the all-state teams.
Joining Wilson and Duffy locally were Cashion’s Neeley Tilley-Bedick and Hennessey’s Gracie Mills in Class 2A.
On the boys’ side, Lomega’s Noah Snowden and Riley Lumpkin were Class B honorees.
Kingfisher’s Bijan Cortes and Matthew Stone picked up the honor in Class 4A and were earlier named to the all-state team.
