Kingfisher was unable to land a wrestler in the state tournament in its first year of having a girls program.
KHS scored 7.0 team points last week at the OSSAA regional held at Noble High School.
Taygen Otey scored four of those points for the team.
She reached the fourth consolation round before being knocked out by Hinton’s Layla Sweaney.
Otey had previously pinned Santa Fe South’s Itzel Nunez in 1:32.
Zoey Padilla picked up the rest of the team’s points.
Padilla pinned Altus’ Zoie Rogers in 32 seconds in the first consolation round before seeing her own exit in the next round.
