Cashion fans rush the field as football players hoist the gold ball after claiming the 2021 Class A state championship. The Wildcats defeated Ringling 21-14 Saturday afternoon at UCO’s Chad Richison Stadium to win their second consecutive state title. The win avenged a loss to Ringling in the 2019 championship game and capped an epic career for Cashion’s seniors. For more on the championship, see Page 6A of this edition.
