Dickson eliminates Lady Jackets
Comet ace limits KHS to 2 hits over 2 games
Kingfisher was a part of two no-hitters on Thursday.
Unfortunately, one of them was at the Lady Jackets’ expense.
That helped lead to the softball season coming to an end on Friday.

It was the second loss to the Lady Comets in the regional and put a halt to Kingfisher’s season.
It ended with a 14-17 record.
Dickson collected five hits and took advantage of four KHS errors to advance to the regional championship against the host team.
KHS was limited to two hits in the loss as they came off the bats of freshmen Kinley Taylor and Mattie Slezickey.
Dickson pitcher Riley Mays struck out 10 Lady Jackets in six innings.
Mays held Kingfisher without a hit Thursday in a 9-1 Dickson victory to open the regional for both teams.
The right-hander sat down 12 KHS batters via the strikeout and walked two.
Meanwhile, the Lady Comets collected 10 hits to go with five KHS errors.
Only four of the runs surrenderedbyKingfisher’s Kinlee East were earned.
The Lady Jackets bounced back late Thursday afternoon to eliminate Western Heights 12-0 in five innings.
