Cashion boys earn 10-stroke win in KHS small-school tournament
Steadiness across the board brought Cashion another boys golf tournament title.
The Wildcats fired a 329 Monday to win the Kingfisher High School Small School Invitational at Kingfisher Golf Course.
They had three of the topfive medalists and counted four scores 93 or better to beat runner-up Arapaho-Butler by 10 strokes.
Holten Aaron paced the Wildcats with a 4-over-par 75, which was good for third among all individuals. Max Brown’s 78 placed

Cashion also got an 89 from Ashton Moore, a 93 from Camden Maroney and a 102 from Grayson Stewart.
Arapaho-Butler was led by Brett Griffith’s 78, which placed him fourth.
Medalist honors went to Tipton’s Conner Cryer, who was the only golfer to shoot under-par with his 69.
That was one stroke better than Carter Ray of Walters, who was second.
Velma-Alma placed third as a team with a 340.
Hennessey took eighth with its 386.
The Eagles were led by Kevin Trillo’s 82.
Manuel Olivas added a 95, Caleb Ashlock a 105 and Alan Perez and Joe Davis both shot 117s.
Kingfisher hosted and played in the large-school tournament Wednesday, but did have one individual take part Monday.
Myles Harrison shot a 99.
Cashion also fielded an individual as Mark Parrott shot a 111.
