Baseball playoffs begin this week for Classes 2A, 3A, 4A
Multiple county schools will host baseball districts and bi-district tournaments this week.
In Class 4A, Kingfisher will play host to Madill in a best-of-three series beginning Thursday at 4 p.m.
A second game will be played at 6 p.m. and the teams will meet up, if necessary, Friday.
KHS finished fourth in District 4A-4 with a 6-6 record.
Madill was fifth in 4A-3 with its 6-8 mark.
Madill is currently 12-21 and Kingfisher is 11-21 (entering Tuesday).
Hennessey will travel to Community Christian for a 3A bi-district series.
The Eagles went 5-9 in District 3A-1 to finish fifth.
Community Christian was fourth in 3A-2 with a 6-6 record.
Classes 2A and below don’t take part in districts throughout the regular season.
The OSSAA announced the 2A district assignments last week.
Both Cashion and Crescent will host. No. 6 Cashion, which
No. 6 Cashion, which reached the state quarterfinals last season, will host Merritt in a best-of-three series.
Crescent will host Fairview.
District tournaments must be completed by Saturday.
