Donald Schweitzer reports seeing three Whooping cranes – an endangered species - near his home at Omega.They were in a migrating flock of Sandhill cranes. Whooping cranes are white as adults; Sandhill cranes remain brown in color.Whooping cranes and sandhill cranes are the only crane species native to North America.
