William ‘Bill’ Scott

William Arthur “Bill” Scott passed away June 3, 2024, in Oklahoma City.

He was born May 4, 1940, in Kingfisher to Andy and Marie Scott. He graduated Kingfisher High School in the class of 1958. Bill spent three years in the U.S. Army and 20 years in the U.S. Air Force and retired from the State Department of Oklahoma.

He had been living with family in Noble.

Services were June 22 at Newcastle United Methodist Church. Cremation burial will be at a later date.

Bill leaves behind his brother Mike (Cindy), two nephews, daughter-in-law Laura, two granddaughters and their husbands, a grandson and four great-grandchildren.

Preceding him in death were his wife (“his queen”) Joan, son Dennis, a great-grandchild and his parents.
