Terry Short

Terry Short, 71, of Kingfisher, passed away Monday Jan. 4, 2021, at Mercy Hospital Kingfisher.

Terry was born Jan. 17, 1949, in Chicago, Ill., to John and Janet Martin.

She was raised in Mineral Wells, Texas, along with five other siblings: James Martin, Barbra Rice, Mark Martin, Mary Walker and Beth Hajek.

Terry married Roger William Short in the spring of 1991 in Ridgecrest, Calif. They remained there for most of their 29 years of marriage. She worked as an entrepreneur and business owner of her own boutique called Terry’s.

They moved to Kingfisher in 2018 to retire, surrounded by many family members where Terry spent most her time with her sisters.

Surviving are husband, Roger Short; daughter, Cori Ann Edmondson; and two grandchildren, Ashleigh and Calie Pilgrim.

She was preceded in death by her brother James Michael Martin, her parents and daughter Natalie Marie Pilgrim.

Visitation will be noon to 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 15, at Sanders Funeral Chapel in Kingfisher.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 15, at Sanders Funeral Chapel with Father Francis Nguyen officiating.

Services are conducted by Sanders Funeral Service.
