Sue Ellen (Yost) Streck, 70, was born Dec. 2, 1953, in Oklahoma City to Jack and Lavada Yost of Kingfisher and passed from this life on June 13, 2024, in Oklahoma City.

She grew up with her brothers Den and Dan Yost, and sister Kim Yost on the family farm in Kingfisher.

After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in English from Southwestern Oklahoma State University, she moved to Oklahoma City, where she met her husband of 48 years, Randy Streck.

They settled in Yukon and started their family. Sue devoted herself to raising her four daughters, Lauren, Jodi, Jill and Niki.

She was always at Randy’s side, working together with him and the girls to develop their plot of land into the beautiful family home that she cherished and where so many memories were made.

She was known for her uncanny ability to see the sunny side of any situation, her everlasting patience in caring for her husband after their accident and her pride in her family.

Sue was preceded in death by her parents and her youngest daughter, Niki.

She is survived by husband Randy; daughters Lauren Whitaker, Jodi Asprey and Jill Womastek; sons-in-law, Stuart Asprey and Jon Womastek; and her five beloved grandchildren, Waylon and Henry Whitaker, Tate and Gage Asprey and Colette “Coco” Womastek, whom she adored.

She loved being their grandmother with all her heart and took great pleasure in telling everyone so.

In recent years, Randy and Sue had developed a passion for Jeeps. The family encourages guests to bring a small “Jeep duck” to the service for Sue’s “Route 66” Jeep.

Services will be held at the family home - 14300 West Reno, Yukon, OK 73099 -at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 19, followed by interment at Mustang Cemetery.
