PaulineAliceTasso-Johnson peacefully passed Aug. 29, 2024, at the age of 73 at her home with her family in Oklahoma City.

A memorial service for Pauline will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 10, at the Kingfisher Cemetery under the direction of Huber- Benson Funeral Home.

Pauline was born in Okarche on Jan. 27, 1951. She was raised in Kingfisher where she attended and graduated from Kingfisher High School.

Pauline was a member of the Indian Baptist Church in Kingfisher.

She enjoyed being with her family, going on day trips, watching movies with her loved ones and shopping for gifts for her family members.

Pauline was a very hard worker and always ready to help others who were in need. In her life she manwhen aged group homes, provided daily care and guidance to the mentally disabled.

Pauline was the beloved matriarch of her family. Her legacy instilled life values, morals, an unwavering love and a strong work ethic in her children to pass to her future generations.

Pauline is survived by a daughter, Tonya Vaniece Tasso-Johnson of Oklahoma City; a son, Richard Wayne Tasso of Oklahoma City; sister Lorinda Joyce Tasso of Mississippi; brother John Andrew Tasso of California; grandchildren Nicholas Andrew-Wayne Tasso-Johnson, Alexander Sterling Tasso-Johnson, Brianna Lorinda-Noelle Tasso- Johnson, Jacob Richard Tasso, Emily Gloria Tasso; and great-grandchildren Arabella Pauline, Zane, Rykar and River, who will arrive in December 2024.

Pauline was preceded in death by her father, Gilbert Richard Tasso Jr.; mother, Gloria Patricia Black Tasso; sisters Barbara Edith Tasso Clayton, Kathleen Marie Tasso Sterner and infant Patricia Denise Tasso.

Pauline will be missed by everyone who was blessed with knowing and loving her.
