Linda Kremeier
Our sweet mama, wife and Meme was called home on Saturday, March 19, 2022, at OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City to join her Lord Savior, beloved son and parents.
Linda Lee Kremeier was born Jan. 4, 1949, to Lorenz and Betty (Espolt) Ahlden at Okarche Hospital in Okarche.
She was the oldest of four children. Growing up she helped with the dairy farming operation her family owned east of Okarche.
Linda graduated from Okarche High School in 1967.
Linda married Donovan Kremeier on Dec. 28, 1968, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Okarche.
Linda enjoyed horseback riding and was crowned Kingfisher Rodeo queen in 1965.
Linda was a long-standing supporter of the Kingfisher Roundup Club and you could always find her helping in the concession during the rodeos.
Linda was a woman with a servant heart. She knew she was a child of God by His grace which she received at her baptism in 1949 at St. John’s Lutheran Church.
She served as Sunday School teacher and youth leader for many years at St. John’s. She also served as officer in many capacities in the local LWML St. John’s Lamplighters and also held a state office within LWML.

She helped with many of the donation events including the orphan train, shoe drive, noisy offering and the Canadian County Battered Women’s Shelter.
She also enjoyed serving Meals on Wheels to local residents, taking friends to appointments and shopping when needed.
Linda took great pride in being St. John’s Lutheran Church secretary and helping with whatever her church family needed. Linda was so excited to go to the LWML National Convention in Lexington, Ky., last summer and was able to go see the Noah’s Ark display which she was so grateful to experience.
She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Linda was always in their cheering section from going to rodeos to watch Skylar and Tori Jo ride in the rodeos to the basketball court to watch Skylar play and Tori Jo cheering on the Lady Warriors.
Linda loved watching her grandson Jameson grow and learn tricks.
It always put a smile on her face anytime her grandkids came to her house.
Linda always loved when her great grandson Wyatt would come out to the farm; he knew that Meme would give him M&M’s when mommy wasn’t looking.
