Delita Starr
Delita Janell Starr was born March 13, 1960, in Clinton to Roy and Patricia (Lamebull) Starr. She departed this earth on Jan. 6, 2025, in Okarche.
“Dee” was a kindhearted, loving woman. She opened her door to many family members and friends who needed a place to stay until they were able to get back on their feet.
She worked many years in the food services industry before retiring due to health reasons.
Delita is survived by her son Cash Johnson and wife Kayla of Del City; two daughters, Patricia Brown and Raven Johnson of Kingfisher; her beloved grandchildren, Koby LeBlanc, Jayanna Rex, JayAlizah Rex, Jazlyn Rex, KC Brown, Champ Johnson and Kenna Brown, Dawn, Dayceon and Delita Burt; and one great-grandson, Saint Rodell.
She is also survived by her sisters Karlita Hosler and husband Ray of Tuttle, Royelette Johnson and Eyvonne Davis, both of Kingfisher; her nieces and nephews, Kyra Crum and Stephen of Loyal, Robert Johnson of Pryor, Shayla Lovins of Kingfisher, Krysand tal Burt and husband Allen of Georgia and Kendall North of Moore.
She was preceded in death by her parents, stepfather Charles Campbell and son William Max Lamebull.
Wake services will be at the Cheyenne & Arapaho Emergency Response Center on 9th and Bowman in Kingfisher on Sunday, Jan. 12, starting at 7 p.m.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 13 at the First Baptist Church, 423 N. 5th Street, with interment following at Kingfisher Cemetery.
Services are under the direction of Sanders Funeral Service.
