Carlton Ray Haynes, Jr., was born Nov. 10, 1982, to Ladonna Kay Terrell and Carl Ray Haynes, Sr. Carl, as he was affectionately called by family and friends, received his call from God on Aug. 1, 2024, to come home.
He was 41. Carl attended Kingfisher High School. He received training to become a certifi ed nurse assistant (CNA) and worked as a CNA at First Shamrock Nursing Center in Kingfisher.

Carl accepted Christ and his call to ministry at an early age. At 8, he started playing the piano for Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church in Kingfisher.
God gave Carl many tal-ents. He played and sang at several funerals and church programs.
He told his grandmother that he wouldn’t be able to play the piano when he was diagnosed as being blind.

Carl was a faithful member of God’s Covenant Church in Kingfisher. He continued to share his gifts until he moved to Oklahoma City and joined Mother Rogers’ church in Oklahoma City. He was friends with her son Rueben; they sang and played the piano together in Oklahoma City.

Proverbs 3:1-6 My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments: For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee.
Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart: So shalt thou find favor and good understanding in the sight of God and man. Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
