Bobby Dean Richardson was born June 15, 1961, in Beaver to Norma Jean Robb Richardson and Donald Roy Richardson. He died Saturday, Aug. 3, 2024, at the age of 63.

Bobby lived in Davenport until the passing of his father in 1967. He then moved to Kingfisher where his mother wed Orville Ferguson.

He attended Kingfisher Public Schools until graduating in 1979. He was active in FFA, football and auto mechanics.

He met the love of his life, Elaine Ann Young, and they wed in March 1979. From this union were four children: Bobby Jr., Erin, James and Eric.

Bobby was a dedicated and loving husband, father and grandfather, doing multiple jobs to support his family. He worked inspecting drill pipe, owned Richardson’s Boot Repair and had a 38-year career at Pioneer Telephone. Bobby was a selfless individual who spent countless hours helping his children and anyone else who may have needed him. Bobby enjoyed helping with livestock projects for the 4-H and FFA students and his own children.

He took many trips to state and national FFA conventions as a parent sponsor.

Bobby was an active member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church and spent many years as the youth director. Bobby and Elaine planned many adventurous outings with the church youth.

Bobby was very proud of his children and grandchildren, rarely missing any school or sport activities.

Bobby enjoyed spending weekends at the lake with family and friends and going on snow ski trips to Red River N.M.

He also enjoyed helping his church, family and friends in any way possible.

Bobby’s infectious smile, honest advice (right is always right), big heart and ornery personality will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife Elaine Richardson of Kingfisher; son Bobby Richardson, Jr., and wife Carrye of Union City, Tenn.; daughter Erin Delozier and husband Michael of Kingfi sher; son James Richardson and wife Erin of Dixon Springs, Tenn.; son Eric Richardson of Kingfisher; grandchildren Jace, Wyatt, Sawyer and Clara Richardson of Union City, Tenn., Braxton Shellstrom, Hunter Delozier, Chloe, Cooper, Carly, Chesney, Casen and Caroline Richardson of Kingfisher, Reagan Richardson of Dixon Springs, Tenn., Austin Delozier and wife Robynne, Trent Delozier, and Caroline Cunningham and husband Tanner of Coalgate; brother Roy Richardson of Stillwater; sister Donna Stevens and husband Michael of Joplin, Mo.; stepsister Linda Hoebing of Sherman, Texas; mother-in-law Janet Young of Dover; sister-in-law Elise Kochenower and husband Rodney of Kingfisher; sister- in-law Janiece Rosetti and husband Jason of Edmond; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
