Powerline hit by trackhoe two miles away causes fire at Hawk farm; 15 acres, 22 bales are damaged

HAY FIRE – Hennessey fi refi ghters successfully work to keep fl ames away from the Heather Hawk home at about 4:30 p.m. Saturday. The family farm is located one mile south of Lacey and one mile east. The fi re was caused due to blown fuses on OG&E lines after a trackhoe two miles away hit a power line, according to Hennessey Fire Chief Brandon Scott.
