WEEK 2 prize winners in Kingfisher County Walk-tober, the month-long step challenge sponsored by Kingfisher Community Collaborative, are Deborah and Mark Maehs, the husband and wife team also known as The aMAEHSments. The pair walked 85,677.5 steps per team member from Oct. 8-14. They took a break Monday at the Kingfisher Cemetery, a popular outdoor walking venue, to accept prizes from KCC co-chairman Blair Coughlan. Two more weekly prizes will be presented before the Oct. 31 grand prize to the team with the highest cumulative average for the month.
