Kingfisher’s freshmen boys opened their basketball season with a convincing win.
The Jackets used a dominant third quarter Thursday to pull away from Chisholm for a 59-37 victory.
Kingfisher had built a 10-point halftime lead, bu went on a 21-8 run after the break to put away the Longhorns.
Cooper Nichols scored 16 points to lead the Jackets.
Lucas Conrady added 15 points.
Kingfisher went 7 of 14 from 3-point range.
Keynun Combs was responsible for three of those treys and scored 11 points.
The Jackets got 10 assists out of Matthew Mecklenburg, who also scored six points.
