Joshua Stursa

Joshua B. Stursa died Nov. 13, 2021, at Integris Canadian Valley Hospital in Yukon.

Mass of Christian Burial was held Nov. 19 at Holy Trinity Church with Deacon Max Schwarz and Rev. Christobal De Loera officiating.

Burial with military honors followed at Holy Trinity Cemetery under the direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home.

Josh was born April 15, 1986, in Oklahoma City.

After his graduation from Del City High School, he joined the U.S. Army and served in Iraq.

After his discharge, he worked in the oilfield.

Joshua aspired to be a nurse and was to begin nursing school in January.

On April 25, 2015, Josh married Kirstin Mueggenborg, who survives him.

He is also survived by their two sons, Blaine Francis Stursa and Garrett James Lewis Stursa; mother, Aubrey Stursa; brothers Clint Howard and Robert Howard; and sisters Ashley Stursa, Chelsea Stursa and Amber Stursa.

His father, Frank Eugene Stursa, and mother, Valerie June (Hoffman) Stursa preceded him in death.
