Gary Russell

Gary Lynn Russell, 63, of Kingfisher, passed away Nov. 14, 2021, in Kingfisher.

Gary was born Dec. 14, 1957, in Kingfisher to Richard Russell and Pat Randall.

Gary worked throughout his lifetime as a heavy equipment operator for various oil companies until his retirement in January 2019.

Gary was a kind and funny man who spent his life in the town of Kingfisher.

He had a gift for storytelling and making people laugh.

Gary will be missed by his many friends and family.

Gary is survived by his siblings Dick Russell and wife Janice, Trish Ludwig and husband Randy, Jim McCormick, Tracy Russell Cruz and husband Joe, and Steve Russell, all of Kingfisher; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Richard Russell and Pat Randall Appling; and brothers Jack Russell of Loyal and Joe McCormick of Okarche.

A celebration of life was held Friday, Nov. 19, at Frontline Ministries with Meagan Nelson officiating.

Services were under the direction of Wilson Funeral Home-Kingfisher.
