Lady Longhorns land 7 on all-conference team
Dover’s best fast-pitch softball season has resulted in a handful of players earning conference honors.
The Lady Longhorns’ Kamree McNulty, Karlee McNulty, Karlee Harviston and Katelyn Harviston were named to the Skeltur All-Conference team for 2021.
Hadlee Bryan, Yareli Obeso and Madison Goodwin were honorable mention.
Joining Dover in the conference are Pioneer, which is also in the Tri-County Conference with Kingfisher, Pond Creek-Hunter, Covington-Douglas, Garber, Cimarron, Waukomis and Drummond.
Kamree McNulty led the team with a .386 average, which was just two points better than her twin sister, Karlee.
Karlee Harviston hit .383 for the year and Katelyn Harviston was at .329.
Dover finished the year with a 16-13 record under first-year head coach Matt Peck.
The Lady Longhorns earned a spot in the Class B top-20 rankings for the first time ever.
