Lisa Kramer

Lisa Lynette Kramer was born on Oct. 29, 1961, in Kingfisher to R.D. and Shirley Kramer. She entered into her forever, Heavenly home

Lisa grew up on the Kramer family farm northeast of Loyal.

During her school years at Lomega, she was involved in 4-H, FFA and basketball.

Showing cattle and pigs gave her much joy. Riding horses was also a favorite

She was a starting guard for the Lomega girls basketball team for most of her junior high and high school

Her senior year was the first time that the Lomega girls team went to the state tournament.

Lisa spent time helping out on the family farm by driving the tractor during wheat harvest and the planting season. She also worked at Kingfisher Cooperative Elevator during her high school years.

After graduating, she attended Southwestern Oklahoma State University before starting work for Briscoe Oil Company in Kingfisher for many years. Lisa also spent time working at Wheeler Brothers Grain Company in Kingfisher before beginning to pursue her life’s passion of caring for others in a nursing career.

She obtained her bachelor’s of nursing science in 1994 from Southern Nazarene University and worked as a Registered Nurse at Watonga Municipal Hospital, Chickasha Hospital, Norman Regional, St. Anthony’s Hospital in Oklahoma City and as an employee health nurse for Premise Health.

Lisa went on to obtain her master’s in nursing science from Maryville University in St. Louis in 2016, along with her Advanced Practice Nursing License as an Adult Geriatric Nurse Practitioner in February 2017.

After Lisa was diagnosed with cancer, the Drummond School, headed by the Student Council , FCCLA and other organizations, raised money on her behalf.

Lisa’s wishes were that the money went to the homeless in the form of backpacks with essential items. The backpacks were distributed to the homeless in Enid and Oklahoma City.

Lisa also started a backpack ministry on her own, delivering backpacks in downtown Oklahoma City to the homeless population.

Her generous heart was evident to both her family and friends. You could never “outgive” Lisa

Lisa is survived by her brother Rodney Kramer and wife Sandy of Loyal; sister Lori Morrison of Enid; niece Sheila Kramer; nephew Randy Kramer, his wife Chrystal and Lisa’s great-niece, Charlie Gene; niece McKenna Rodenberg and husband Scott; nephew Tyler Morrison, and niece Maci Morrison.

She is also survived by her aunt Linda Fisher, aunts and uncles Greg and Deone Fisher and Gary and Barbara Fisher, all of Kingfisher. Surviving cousins include: Darla and Nicole; Judd; Kent, Curtis, and Wade; along with each of their families.

She was preceded in death by her parents R.D. and Shirley Kramer; grandparents Gilbert and Alice Fisher and John and Eva Kramer; and her uncle Doug Fisher.

Just as graciously as Lisa cared for and continuously blessed others, she was very fortunate to have wonderful friends, family and neighbors who loved and cared for her deeply.

The relationships she formed were meaningful and deep because of her compassion, listening skills and love.

She lived life practicing and teaching skills to be healthy mentally, physically, spiritually and emotionally.

Lisa willbe dearly missed by those who love her and joyfully welcomed by those who met her in Heaven.
