Bobbie Shimanek

Graveside service for Bobbie Shimanek, 78, was Monday, Oct. 12, at Hennessey Cemetery officiated by Rev. Ish Engle.

Arrangements were by Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home, Hennessey.

Bobbie was born in Seminole on June 17, 1942, to Henry and Evelyn Fugett Mathes and died Friday, Oct. 9, 2020, at Cimarron Nursing Home in Kingfisher.

Bobbie worked at Pioneer Telephone for a number of years and later worked as a home health nurse.

She is survived by one granddaughter, Amber Nicole Willms; one grandson, Joseph Taylor Willms and wife Kortny; four great-grandsons, Tristan Morrison, Allen Morrison, Owen James Willms and Declan Taylor Willms; two sisters, Shereeta Hoskins and husband Jack and Dianna Cothran; four brothers, Ronald Mathes, Ernie Heflin and wife Susan, Victor Hammonds, Leroy Hammonds and numerous nieces and nephews.

Bobbie was preceded in death by her parents, brother John Mathes, and daughter Jaylena Gayle Willms.
