Bausten Jech
With heavy hearts, the family of Bausten Riley Jech announces his passing on Feb. 18, 2019, in Oklahoma City.
Bausten was born on Aug. 10, 1993, in Oklahoma City to Jerry and Tracey Jech.
He was raised in Kingfisher and graduated from Kingfisher High School in 2011. Bausten went on to earn his bachelor of science degree in 2016 from the University of Central Oklahoma.
Throughout his college career, Bausten worked at Results Fitness in Edmond. He was currently employed by Bios Corp where he cared for the developmentally disabled, helping them with their daily needs, administering medication, and ensuring their dietary needs were met.
Bausten had the purest heart a person could have. He cared deeply for all living things, especially his friends and family. His caring was evident in his everyday actions, always making sure others were cared for.
He was content to spend time and get to know you over a craft beer. He took great care to give personal gifts and took joy in the act of sharing an experience with you.
His ambitions were for the simple things; he loved nature, traveling and adventures, and spending time with loved ones.
Bausten blazed his own trail through life. He was a renegade with a heart of gold, and he will be deeply missed.
He leaves behind his parents, Tracey Jech and Mark Owens of Guthrie and Jerry Jech of Kingfisher; siblings Blake Jech of Kingfisher, Bryce Jech and his wife Laryn and nephew and niece Wylie and Kyndal of Stillwater, Kasey (Owens) and nephew Jaspen of Guthrie; grandparents Dennis and Joreta Martin of Kingfisher, Arnold and Donna Jech of Kingfisher; aunts and uncles Teri Martin of Edmond, Danny and Sara Jech of Kingfisher, Ronny Jech and Shelley Nixon of Cashion; cousins Eli and Noah Hooks of Edmond, Jaryn (Jech) Rogers of Oklahoma City, Lacey (Jech) Burnett of Oklahoma City, Lauren (Jech) of Cash-ion, Tyler Jech of Cashion; dearest friends Satnam Aildasani of Nairobi, Kenya, Vladislav (Vlad) Volkov of Tula, Russia, Dalton Buck of Kingfisher, Caleb Parham of Oklahoma City, Caleb Dean of Kingfisher, Martin Mickovski of Fyaron, Macedonia and countless other family and friends.
