Roma Roberts

Crescent native Roma Joyce Roberts, 73, of Orlando died March 27, 2020.

Graveside services were held April 1 at Morris Heights Cemetery near Orlando.

She was born July 28, 1946, in Crescent to Marcus and Lawanda Lucille Roten Dodson.

After graduating from high school, she attended beauty school, obtaining her cosmetology license.

She operated a beauty salon in Perry for over 30 years.

Survivors include two sons, Tim Roberts and wife, Christy, of Crescent and Mike Roberts of Orlando, six grandchildren; a sister, Sheila Kohen and husband Dennis of Orlando.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon, parents, an infant son, Allen, three brothers, Donald, Marcus and Charles Dodson and a sister, Carolyn Poindexter.
