KHS girls have ‘big’ problem with Tuttle
Kingfisher had one of its worst shooting nights of the season and Tuttle’s Landry Allen was a big reason.
A 6-foot-3 reason.
The Lady Tiger freshman recorded a triple-double that included 13 blocks Tuesday as 4A’s 14th-ranked Tuttle downed KHS 55-36 at the APB.
After the teams traded buckets in the fi rst quarter, one that Tuttle ended up leading 12-10, Allen helped her team dominate the next two.
Kingfisher managed just 12 points in the second and third quarters combined and watched its defi cit grow to 17 points.
Allen added 28 points and 18 rebounds to add to her monstrous night as Tuttle improved to 8-3.
The Lady Jackets made just 24 percent of their shots. They also recorded just four assists against 18 turnovers.
Rayland Garner led the way with 12 points and 12 rebounds, but was the lone Lady Jacket in double fi gures.
Britt Taylor added six points as KHS dropped its season record to 7-4.
