Lomega grabs 2 wins against K-H
Momentum continued Tuesday night for Lomega’s girls basketball team.
A few days after defeating Calumet for the Canton Tournament title, the Lady Raiders hammered Kremlin-Hillsdale 83-33 at home.
Lomega will go into the Christmas break with an 8-2 record and a fi ve-game win streak.
Ranked third in Class B, Lomega put the game away early with a 21-2 run.
The lead grew to 38 points by halftime.
Junior Adysen Wilson led the way with 23 points, but was just one of four Lady Warriors in double fi gures.
Darcy Roberts added 15, Haillie Barton 12 and Sophie VanDenDriessche 10.
Broncs no match
for Raiders
Lomega dominated the final three quarters and, eventually, the fi nal score Tuesday in a 62-23 home win against Kremlin-Hillsdale.
After the Broncs stayed within three points in the first quarter, Lomega outscored them by 23 over the next two.
That was before fi nishing on yet another 20-7 run.
Noah Snowden paced Lomega with 18 points as the Raiders improved to 6-4.
Riley Lumpkin added 10 while Hector Rivera scored seven.
Lomega, ranked 18th in Class B, ended a two-game losing streak with the win.
