NATIONAL SIGNING DAY
Kingfisher’s Beebe, McCully sign to play collegiately
Jenni Beebe has yet to play a game as a Kingfisher Yellow-jacket, but she has signed a National Letter of Intent as one. Beebe, a senior at KHS, signed last Wednesday to continue her basketball career at Oklahoma Baptist University. Beebe moved to Kingfisher last summer from Garber where she was voted the Skeltur Conference’s most valuable player in each of the past two seasons. She signed during a ceremony in front of teammates, classmates, coaches and family, among others. Pictured are, from left: seated, Janice Bodeker (grandmother), Beebe, and Gerrett Spears (KHS girls head basketball coach); and standing, Bill Bodeker (grandfather), Tim Beebe (father), Josh Beebe (brother), Jake Beebe (brother), Bengi Beebe (mother), Jessi Beebe (sister) and Kathi Chestnut (grandmother).
