The semifinal match saw him out-class Tristan Cash Cardenas of Clinton in a 15-1 major decision.

But Alig came back with two straight wins, the first being a pin of Clinton’s Jackson Brown in 2:50 and then winning his own narrow decision, 6-4, over Zaner Furrow of Hinton in the third-place match.

Fellow senior Ryker Long was fourth at 215 pounds.

Long got pins over Kolten Baker of Elk City and Shooter Mayabb of Hobart to reach the semifinals.

There he lost 5-0 to Gage Hixon of Marlow before coming back to down Dayton Carey of Anadarko 10-4 in the consolation semifinal.

Long was defeated by Weatherford’s Austin Burkeen in his third-place match.

Another senior, Robert Barnett, placed fifth at 190 pounds.

Barnett lost his quarterfi nal, but came back with a pair of consolation bracket pins over Desmond Williams of Western Heights and Judd Underwood of Hobart.

Barnett then lost in the consolation semifinal before beating Gunnar Smith of Weatherford with a pin at 1:27 of their fifth-place match.
