Teams head to Cache for 5A regional

All three Kingfisher County schools are headed to Cache for the Class 5A girls wrestling regional this month.

The regional will be Feb. 17-18. Kingfisher, Cashion and Hennessey have been assigned to the regional.

They’ll be joined by Anadarko, Bethel, Blackwell, Bridge Creek, Cache, Caddo, Chandler, Clinton, Coalgate, Comanche, Cordell, Davis, Douglass, Elk City, Geary, Harrah, Hinton, Lexington/Purcell, Lone Grove, Madill, Marlow, McLoud, Morrison, Newkirk, Pauls Valley, Perkins- Tryon, Plainview, Prague, Sulphur, Tecumseh, Tuttle, Watonga, Weatherford and Woodward.

The top-five placers in each weight class will advance to the state tournament.
