Anadarko is a team that coaches in Class 3A feel can make a run deep into the playoffs, which is evident by the Warriors’ top-four ranking.

They showed off the skills that gave coaches that belief in Kingfisher on Friday night.

Using an opportunistic attack on offense and stifl ing defense, the Warriors downed KHS 68-42 at the APB.

The loss was Kingfisher’s second straight as the Jackets fell to 4-4.

Anadarko improved to 9-1 with its fourth straight win.

The Warriors won most every statistical category and several by a wide margin - as they pulled away from the Jackets beginning in the second quarter.

Already up nine points, Anadarko outscored KHS 21-10 in the second.

The Jackets shot just 5 of 19 from the field in that first half.

They made their first and only push in the third quarter.

After struggling from the field in the first half, Hayes White heated up.

He scored 11 points in the third quarter and led KHS back to within 11 points.

But the Warriors had another strong quarter and closed out with a 21-8 run.

Jaben Bray scored 10 of his team-high 17 points during that run.

Anadarko also got 16 points from Trenton Walker and 11 from Jordan Cange.

White was the lone Jacket in double figures with his 18 points.

Jhett Birdwell and Jackson Willbanks scored 7 points apiece.
