DHS dismantles Aline-Cleo for pair of road wins
The schedule was expected to lighten up for the Dover girls - at least temporarily - after their first two games of the season.
That held true on Tuesday as the Lady Longhorns thumped Aline-Cleo 82-3 on the road to pick up their first win.
Dover held its host to no field goals. The Lady Cougars made one free throw in the first half and two more in the second.
The game was over in a matter of moments as Dover scored quickly and often.
Rylee Buck scored 19 of her 27 points in the first quarter. Dover led 35-0 by the end of the frame.
Buck didn’t play in the second half.
The Lady Longhorns also got 10 points each from Madison Goodwin and Riley Voth. Joi Caldwell added eight points.

The end result was a second straight win for the Longhorns as they downed Aline-Cleo 94-19 on the road.
Jonah Pendergraft scored all of his game-high 19 points in the first half as Dover built up a 63-8 advantage.
Casen Buck added 13, which all came in the first two quarters as well.
Dover also got 10 points from Brennan Fletcher while Carter Kitchens scored eight.
Isaac Ramirez did most of the Cougars’ damage as he scored 16 of the home team’s points.
