Connie Weems
Connie Faye (Ingram) Weems went to be with her Lord Jesus on Oct. 8, 2024. Connie passed away peacefully at Cimarron Nursing Center in Kingfisher.
The family will have a private graveside memorial service at a later date.
Connie was born March 14, 1940, in Austin, Texas.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend to many.
Connie married the love of her life, Bill Weems, on April 19, 1960. Bill brought Connie and their three children - Cassie, Kent and Matt - to Kingfisher in 1977.
Connie was a loyal and faithful member of First Baptist Church in Kingfisher. She served as the church secretary for many years.
Connie started her working career in Kingfisher at People’s National Bank. Following that, she worked for Phillips Petroleum/ DCP and officially retired in 1995.
Connie loved to sew and quilt. She loved to talk about her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren every chance she had.
Most of all, she loved telling people about her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Connie leaves behind a daughter, Cassie Chattin and husband Jerry of Oklahoma City; son Kent Weems and wife Dianna of Kingfisher; son Matt Weems and wife Sue of Columbia, S.C.; grandchildren Shaun Beauchamp, Christina Clemons and husband Charles, Melissa Weems Calamateo and husband Javier, Ryan Weems and wife Brittany, Whitney Weems Mathes and husband Richard, Ransom Weems, Memphis Weems, Cora Jo Weems and Jedediah Weems; great-grandchildren Brandon Beauchamp, Taylor Clemons and Amiya Clemons, Brett, Brady and Bennett Calamateo, Avery Weems, Weston Holland, Beckham Weems, Sloane Weems, Aria Mathes and Ellie Mathes, Aria Scott; one brother, Milton Ingram and wife Cleona.
She was preceded in death by husband, Bill Weems; parents, Verlin and Coreine Ingram; and one brother, Butch Ingram.
