Glenna Jeanne Stucki “Jeanne” - was born Feb. 23, 1938, in Cushing to Charles Lonnie and Glenna Mae (Bohannon) Welch.

She passed away Aug. 9, 2024, at Cimarron Nursing Center where she had been a resident since her beloved Bill passed in February 2024.

Jeanne went to school in Drumright. She moved with her parents to Enid where she met and married Bill Stucki on Dec. 10, 1960.

She moved from Enid to Loyal in 1972 where she worked as a cook at Lomega High School until her youngest child graduated in 1980. She worked various jobs in retail and loved baking, even owning a bakery in Kingfisher.

Jeanne loved traveling with her husband to one of their favorite destinations of Red River, N.M., where they lived for a time. She loved her OU Sooners and country music.

She also enjoyed watching and supporting her children and grandchildren in sports, 4-H and FFA activities. She loved baking birthday cakes for her family, especially her grandchildren.

Jeanne is survived by her children, Tammy (Bob) Edsall of Loyal and Billy (Donna K.) Stucki of Kingfi sher. She is also survived by grandchildren Justin (Sarah) Edsall of Omega, Brooke (Cole) Graddy of Wichita, Kan., Taylor Stucki and Seth Gleichman of Okarche, Caitlyn (Dalton) Cramer of Ames and Madison (Blake) Owen of Kingfi sher; great-grandchildren Harper and Hope Edsall, Baker, Lennan and Elliott Graddy, Wrenlee Owen and baby Cramer due in January; sister Barbara Welch of Kingfisher, brother Randy (Lisa) Welch of Iowa Park, Texas, and Kandi (Randy) Powell of Elk City; and several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren she was blessed with through her children’s marriages.

Jeanne was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Bill Stucki; her parents, Lonnie and Glenna Welch; and her in-laws, Henry and Ruth Stucki.

Donations may be made in her memory to Russell- Murray Hospice or Cimarron Nursing Center.

A graveside service was Monday, Aug. 12, at Forest Home Cemetery in Loyal under the direction of Sanders Funeral Service.
