Theresa Ottis

Theresa Mary Ottis died May 8, 2024, at Mercy Hospital Kingfisher.

The prayer service was Sunday evening and Mass of Christian Burial was Monday.

Both services were at Holy Trinity Church in Okarche with Rev. Cory Stanley and Deacon Max Schwarz officiating. Burial was in Holy Trinity Cemetery under the direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home.

Theresa was born Sept. 25, 1930, in Hitchcock.

On September 9, 1953, Theresa married Thomas Ottis. They made their home in Okarche where she was a member of Holy Trinity Church and Catholic Daughters of the Americas.

Theresa was a bookkeeper at Nip and Van Rambler and Jackie Cooper Oldsmobile in Yukon.

She is survived by her sons, Dennis Ottis and Michael Ottis, both of Piedmont: sister, Betty Lou Boburg and husband Carlos; sister-in-law, Ruthie Ewers; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom; parents, Henry and Helen (Kloeppel) Ewers; sisters, Arlene, Mary Agnes and Catherine; and brothers, Ben, Phillip and Norbert.
