HHS girls advance; Snider conference champ

The Hennessey girls golf team has qualified for a Class 3A regional. The group of Lady Eagles played in Tuesday’s regional qualifier at Blackwell. Their 440 placed them sixth, securing them the final qualifying spot. They beat Caney Valley by six strokes. The regional will be this week at Sapulpa’s Rock Creek Golf Course. Team members are Marisol Valles, Katie Kennedy, Kadee Meeker, Kallie Rapp and Taryn Jech. Meeker placed 12th among the individuals at the qualifier. [Photo provided]
